Lloyd “Bruce” Hudson, Sr., 62, of Greenville, Texas passed away on June 30, 2014 in Greenville.

He was born on July 20, 1951 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Lloyd Robert and Norma Joan Whitely Hudson.

Bruce grew up in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, graduated with a Master’s Degree or “ABD” in Physics from the University of Oklahoma, and moved to Greenville, Texas where he worked and retired from L-3.

He loved the Lord and was a loving son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather.

He loved his family deeply. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Mary Hudson;

son, B.J. Hudson and wife Heather of Greenville; daughter, Christi Collins and husband Kenny of Caddo Mills;

mother and stepfather, Norma and Lee Holley of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; brother, Jeff Hudson of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma;

grandchildren, Sarah Fincher, Caleb Fincher, Hannah Fincher, Stefani Hudson, Madison Watkins, Heather Hudson,

Ceana Hudson; brothers-in-law, Louis Duncan and wife Orvillene, Hugh Duncan and wife Joyce; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of loving friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, July 3, 2014 at First Assembly of God located at 5702 Wesley St. in Greenville.

 Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at Lynch Funeral Service in Greenville.
